Tonight was the night of the VP debate.  It was a debate highly anticipated because of the risks involved of either candidate performing a sort of train wreck show.  However, neither candidate wavered and the outcome was the same as before, nothing has changed.  Personally, I’m about gassed out with the political rhetoric we have been subjected to over the last, oh, 20+ years…  Same story, different face.  Same tune, new year.  Outside of terrorist activity, the issues are the same as the year I was born, 1972 by the way.  If 35 years of politics and regimes hasn’t changed the fundamental landscape involving the American public, the next 4 years won’t make any difference either.  My advice is to vote your heart.  Vote your conscience.  Do NOT vote your wallet.  I did get to rent a few movies and we got to watch one before bedtime.  Forgetting Sarah Marshall…  please do not rent this movie if you value your time.  I laughed maybe 3 or 4 times during the show and I was subjected to full frontal male nudity for at least 4 scenes.  We watched the unrated version so I can’t tell you what the normal version shows.  Even without the nudity, it wasn’t funny so save your money.
