Check out AC/DC’s new single of their latest album “Black Ice.” Currently, their album is number 1 for the 2nd straight week on the billboard charts and has already sold over 1 million copies.

I’ve been an AC/DC fan for as long as I can remember. For a long time in the early 90’s, every day on my way to work, I would blast through the entire album of Back in Black.

Jewel Cases

When I buy CD’s, I throw the plastic jewel cases away and put the CD booklet and CD into a standard carrying case. I used to keep all of the CD’s stored in a nice rack but it seemed like they always liked to stay there and I rarely got to listen to them… out of sight, out of mind.

But now, I have every CD available in a carrying case within easy reach to listen to. I’ve also imported every CD I have into my iTunes library and now have them in digital format.

Just think how much money we could save if we didn’t need the jewel cases in the first place. Think how much we could save environmentally without the plastics involved. Remember, plastic is made with oil products…

I’ve been an iTunes Music Store user for quite some time. I will buy an album off iTunes if the physical CD cost is higher than the digital price online. If I want a physical copy, I can easily burn my own CD at a very minimal cost.

With the most every major label under the record label sun signed up with Apple and iTunes, it’s very easy to find almost any song you would like. Throw in access to television and movie video and high definition video and you have a one stop shop for your entertainment needs.

All in all, iTunes is a great tool and marketplace to extend your music collection and at a reasonable price.
