The Democrats have taken complete control of the political landscape with tonight’s election results. Barack Obama has officially become our next President and the Senate and House are under near veto proof Democratic control. As it stands, the political and national landscape could change drastically over the next 4 years as the apparent mandate that has been given to the Democratic Party is tirelessly implemented.

Nights such as this make me fear what our political process has become. No longer are our parties worried about the actual issues and running on moral and ethical values, but they are running on dollars. Dollars in our pockets, dollars in their pockets, and dollars in campaign money. The office is now a popular office that can be purchased.

Conservative Politics

Tonight, John McCain lost in his attempt to become the next President of the United States. The conservative nation now has to live under the stewardship of one of the most liberal Democrats we have ever seen. Hopefully the Democratic controlled Senate, House, and Presidency trifecta will have enough opposition as to not allow our nation’s moral and ethical base be completely washed away.

It’s time for the conservative Republican nation to rebuild themselves and do the right thing. We must not succumb to the tricks and treats that the Liberals have utilized to achieve their current rock star status. Run campaigns on the issues and on good moral and ethical values. Everything else will work itself out.

I am currently reading Ann Coulter’s latest book titled “If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans.”
