The site of the photo is about 45 minutes directly south of Arizona in the desert’ish lands. I witnessed first hand… thunder, lightning, rain, and a tremendous amount of hail during a storm while we were there visiting.

I was starting to think that rain in Arizona was nothing more than an urban legend or myth passed down from previous generations, but it happened! Not only did it happen, but it poured and when the hail came and went, the ground was covered as if it had snowed.

It was wildly entertaining and I’m just glad we were inside when the storm hit!

Here is Wilson wearing a hat trying to nail the grunge look even though grunge left the building about 15 years ago.  What does he know, he’s just a cat.
