The weekend is almost over =( It’s always a sad time when the weekend ends and the workweek starts. Free time is limited and lack of sleep always pours over into the day creating a weary evening and then it starts over again. Sometimes, there just isn’t enough time in the day to do everything you would like. Well, let me restate that, not sometimes, all the time. Eventually everything all works out, but in the meantime, it just seems so prolonged. Anyway, football was the menu today of course. The NFL season is in full swing and while I don’t have a particular team to root for, I still watch games as long as they are competitive. I took our pool out of service today and will cover it for the fall/winter this week. I’m trying to make the weekend last longer by staying up later!

I was talking about this exact same thing the other day with Jeanie. It seems that life has become more and more complicated and a lot less enjoyable. I really don’t understand how it’s come to this. It seems like there’s just more and more to do and a lot less time to do it in. I feel like I, and a lot of other people, seem to live for the weekends. That just doesn’t seem right.
Yeah, I know what you mean. We are living for the weekends and then when the weekend gets here, all we can think of is how short it is and there is only X amount of time until Monday comes. Then before you know it, it’s Sunday evening and nothing you wanted to do was accomplished and it’s time to go back to work again.
